The Founder
OMII was founded by Onofre Jauregui — a mechanical engineer turned AI builder with a Master's degree from UC Santa Barbara and a background that spans FDA-regulated medical devices, patent development, and full-stack AI systems.
Before OMII, he led R&D at a hypergrowth Silicon Valley medical device startup — owning product development end-to-end across multiple systems in high-stakes, regulated environments. That means he thinks in systems, builds for reliability, and holds his work to a standard where failure has real consequences.
He holds Oracle Generative AI Professional certifications, has shipped production automation across industries from media to e-commerce to real estate, and is bilingual in English and Spanish — which matters when your clients operate in diverse communities.
